Yes, if you can start the engine in the car. Take the brown wire and connect to the neg side of the coil, then attach the metal frame of the tach to a good ground. If you can't start the engine in the car, do you have access to another early GM? If so the connections will be the same. :bglasses:
No coil used I guess I should have mentioned the car has a HEI, and I replaced the underhood wiring harness with one I bought from Year One several years ago,there is no wire under the hood for the tach(I dont think). Thanks for any help.
