Wow, thats an old one. I could tell it was a joke, so found it funny. I remember my cousin believed it was true. I had to explain certain common sense things of why it couldn't be true, yet he wouldn't believe. (An animal could never survive those conditions long enough to grow into the shape.) He seems to be quick to think the worst of anything. Eventually the news out here even did a story (showing its a hoax and how it was done). Then he believed me, Oh well.
Egg on thy face for breakfast? ou: I came across that post and replied just as I was ready to leave work. (jacket on, keys in hand.) So, as I'm driving home I'm thinking, maybe that was some kind of joke, I hope it is. Its an awfully elaborate one though. It looks like something National Lampoon or the Onion would have done. I would hate for someone to take it literally and try that technique on their own kitten / puppy.
Up here in Canada we had a similar dilemma Johnathan Swift over where to spend our pension/employment insurance system... for our elderly or our unemployed. The debate went like this: Liberal party: "Clearly we should carve up the unemployed and use them as feed for the elderly." Conservative: "THAT'S APALLING! Who let this idiot on the air?... Obviously we should feed the elderly to the unemployed and then ride the unemployed to work."
