    Hi Gary,

Nice work! I also have a page about my 75 on Car Domain, I coud copy the link to your web page on my page if you don't mind!
The work you have done to your Electra reminds me what I did to my 65 Wildcat. Adding options is what I like best but so far I didn't do it to my Electra. I found a 75 Park Avenue with a black interior for parts and I considered getting the 8 track player out of it to replace my AM-FM stereo radio but the convector box is not the correct model for cars with air bags and I haven't found one yet.
It's funny you mention having a lighted thermometer on the mirror. On my car, the original driver's side doors (as well as the driver's door glass) were replaced by the GM dealer in the late seventies or very early eighties because of an accident and the orignal mirror with thermometer was replaced by a newer one with a lighted thermometer but otherwise identical. The optical fiber was never connected to a light source but when I saw it hanging in the door, I connected it to a light in the dashboard. So we both have lighted thermometers in our 75 Electras!

Looks like your car is in the same shape as mine is in. I finally removed the black tar from the rear windows and I am looking for the felt strips that are put along the base of the windows right above the chrome molding. Anyone know where to get those things?

    Garyd,

My advice is to use multiple pages instead of putting all the text and photos on 1 single page. Now it's too much for 1 page, and people with dail-up connections have to wait too long to get all the stuff loading.

Start with the name of the website, something like:

    My 1975 Buick Electra

Under that text you can show an 800 pixels width photo of the car,
and a short description on this index page.
After that lead your visitors to page 1, and on.

    Now your website starts with:
"A little back ground information on my car. I bought it in 1995."
And after that a lot of text without giving visitors a clue what car you're on about.

You don't have to type the index stuff when you want to tell people about your web address,
    just http://racingflea0.tripod.com will do :TU:

go and add the link if you like, i dont mind. i dought that anyone would come and steal the car, i dont run at the moment. :af: icm keep burnin up. the optionspart is fun, i did it to my opel ascona. the only option i lack on the opelk now is a/c and a auto trans.ive spend alot of money on both cars. im gonna try to place a video of my turn signlas on my page. i broke the crystal on my digital camera, but it still works, i just cant see what im shooting. i wan tto make extra pages for those that have dial up, but i dont want to pay. cheap as possiable i say. what i might do is add a html link on every page to go to the next page so there are only a few pics per page.its been so damn hot and humid here, i have not worked on the car at all. i have a car show 6 aug i want to attend, but i dont know. i still need to do the headliner and pass seat and a few door panel. thanx for the input. ive fixed a few things so far, but im still new at the webpage thing :TU:
