My gun jammed and the only thing I had to shoot him with was my Nikon N90s!

Now, you know why you always carry a sidearm. I 44 mag or 357 would be good. I like the 50 Desert Eagle. I call it the Sun Tan machine since the barrel flame is about 3 feet long! Nice pic!

It wouldn't have been blood on my shoes, it would have been a little more yellow in color I think.

One of the boys I work with has the record in Pender County near Wilminton NC now at 580 lbs! Cost about 2K for him to mount the whole bear. He said if it would not go through the doors then he would cut a hole in the roof and drop it in by helicopter:eek2: And he shot his while running dawgs through a think swamp at a distance of 8':blast:

Poor Yardley always getting picked on:grin:

for a black [brown] bear that is pretty big! i believe the largest live grizzly recorded here [in montana] as of last fall is believed to be a 10 year old male living along the rocky mountain front and is recorded at around 1025 lbs. i would get more than a few splatters on my shoes if i were treed by something like that:eek2:

I think a few speedloaders of the 320 grain hollow points from my old .44 MAG would take the snarl from that guy!Thats too close for my comfort.Glad to see ole Yardley take one for the team!LOL
