I had a nice hour long conversation with the Ignition man (Dave), today. I am impressed! I will be sending off my distributor to him asap to rid myself of the Pertronics curse forever! I can't wait! He was going to do Cyberbuicks distributor as soon as he got off the phone with me. Brian

Hmmmmmmm... Funny........ My dist that Dave did is sitting in a non-running (at the moment) engine.. Might he be making a freebie? :Brow:

I'm glad you enjoyed talking to him, now go run, don't walk to the post office and send that pos off to Dave! :gt:

That is strange! I would swear he said Cyberbuick by name when he said that. Maybe he meant he was going to send some pics of it since he did send some of a Buick distributor that evening to me. I could have misunderstood what he was going to do. Must have been the natural high from talking to someone that knows as much as he seems to know. Anyway mine is going bye bye tomorrow and will come back all healed.Shhh! be vewy vewy quiet! I am hunting Mopars! Brian

I felt the same way when I met him. I don't think I can remember talking to anyone who can rattle off clearance and tollerance specs (to the thou!) the way he does. Being a qualified Mechanical Engineer might have something to do with it but he shows a real passion and interest for the machines he works on. He's also a top comedian    which is always a good thing when you work on Buicks.

I stood in the same spot in his workshop for what must have been 2 (maybe 3) hours just listening to him talk about all sorts of interesting mechanical things and the most important things is that he understands Buicks!

It was one of the highlights of my Trip to the US :bglasses:

He told me that you had visited him. I am glad you were able to make it up here!I would love to visit Australia before I die. It is the one place I would really like to see. He is really passionate about what he does. I enjoyed my talk with him and wish I could see him in person sometime. Brian :beer

Bill - He's alive! I believe we stood there talking for at least 3hrs maybe 4. I did it again with GSXMEN last week. It's a blast each time.

Brian, he could have sent you photos of mine maybe? Beats me! :)

I'm glad you'll be sending him yer dist for a good healing! You won't know it's the same dist when you get it back. :TU:

Hunting mopars eh? I prefer ricers, or the occasional kids in daddy's new car.

Ah you know the old saying, after you eat rice you are hungry again in an hour. I like to savor my kills like a big lazy lion! Brian :Brow:
