One of the drivers was a golden gloves fighter, sterling marlin maybe. I remember him having an issue with Dale and went right into his hauler looking to discuss it. He wasn't intimadated I guess.
In the paper just now it mentioned Robby Gordon was placed on probation (again) for an incident with Kevin Conway... Bert
Guess he was not intimidated. He also hit the 3 in the rear at Daytona killing Earnhart. Don't mess with Marlin for sure!
I would rather take my chances with any 3 other guys than 3 NASCAR drivers of the FOX network era....( Kenseth, Busch, and so many other clones that have made the sport a mockery) If I get ANY NASCAR drivers from any era..I'll take Tiny Lund, Buddy Baker and Bobby Allison....and clear the place out...
Re: I would only need one! X 2 On Dick I met him in Illinois when he raced a purple Mustang fastback on dirt nad asphalt. He had a school bus with the back cut out. The car hung out the back about 2 to 3 foot. Tough SOB. As for Sterling Marlin wrecking and killing DW thats a bit of revisionist history. DW was blocking for his kid, slowing downthe pack caused that accident. DW RIP, but he was the cause of that accident IMHO

These guys fought as much as they raced! I see Buddy Baker at the post office once in awhile and he's a big boy. You're correct, Dale was blocking instead of racing and it bit him. :beers2: BILL

She phoned in to Wind Tunnel last night and it seems that running with the stock car guys has brought her down a couple notches. I hope she is sucsessful in Nascar without the attitude that these drivers have.:TU:
