Identify this piston.. Forged?

the first picture is a stock 401 standard bore piston in an original 401 shortblock.

This second piston is in a rebuilt 401 shortblock and is a .030 over piston and was part of a high dollar rebuild a few years back. is it possible to tell if it's forged without removing it?

 

I found out that the pistons in question are forged pistons. Bob
