This was a new scam for me so I thought I'd share. Maybe I can claim the prize before they realize I didn't buy a ticket. LOL. Some cleaver people out there wanting to separate you from your money. Be careful.
It's not the bank account number they want. They want your identity. So that they can use your information to buy thousands of dollars worth of stuff and/or borrow from a bank lets say 150K . With all your info they can duplicate all the needed documents with your info on it. In fact with that info they may even sell your house without you even knowing it until the new owners arrive. Example give me your DOB, your mothers maiden name, your ss and bank accounts along with address. And I can get a drivers license, bank account, bank loans, credit cards any identification I so choose. In NYS with that info I can go and aquire a copy of your birth certificate. With all of that I now am you and you are screwed BIG TIME for many years of aggravation of trying to clear up your name not to mention your soc sec benifits and tax returns. Do yourself a great favor...hit the delete button and walk away from it. And remember if it sounds all to good to believe, it is.
