and insurance and a full interior and a full exhaust system and all steel and all stock glass still a street car to me..................
If you want to stay with 15" wheels I belive the biggest brake rotor you can go with and still get the calipers inside the wheels is a 12" rotor. The 13" rotors require a 16"-17" rotor. I would check with Baer, Wilwood or Stainless Steel brakes. They all make packages to work with stock spindles. Selection of the brake pads is also important. You can go with a little more agressive pad with better grip if you really want to haul the car to a stop. I know I have 6 piston 13" willwood brakes and they are tremndously better than the stock 11". Mark
Tyler, I agree that a 15" aluminum wheels have less unsprung weight than a 17" wheel. Additionally a 17" aluminum wheels has less unsprung weight than a stock 15" steel ralley wheels. If you have the money the Vintque wheels look like buick Ralley wheels and weight less. A 17" light weight wheel is benificial over a 15" stock steel wheel but not as benificial as the same light weight 15". The only advantage I see to 17" wheels is to allow for larger brakes. Mark
