I saw this one on ebay. :jd: Now I know why I like Buicks so much. Harvey http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=7244&item=4513738559&rd=1
No way man.........there's some funny business going on there..........1/4 mil for that? It's ugly with that wing on it anyway. :bglasses:
there was a 71 white judge ragtop that sold on ebay a while back for 70K,it made that thing look like the color it is... bowel movement metallic ou:
Ram III 4 speed. Only made a few of these. The other GTO 'verts he has are priced much less - course then again there are no bidders yet! - Bill
believe only 126 1970 Judge converts. this granada gold judge I saw listed once before. for some reason I thought I saw recently a RAIV judge convert on ebay. black in color if memory serves me right. price, $899,000 surprisingly no bids on that one either. saw a palisades green 70 judge convert at our local show a couple years ago. was never really a big fan of green, but my tastes are slowly changing. That was one nice car. 71 judge convert, only 17 of those. believe only 9 known to exist. 70K tells me it was a project. or a clone. seems too low for a real one, but you never know.
I've heard of the place customclassicgto.com, seems all his cars are highly priced IMO. But from looking at the website he does some primo work, I never got to go to the place in person when I was still on the right coast, but I'd love to passes the crack pipe to Tim uzzled:
How can anyone other than Bill Gates, the Walton family, or any pro athlete for that matter, even enjoy owning a car that highly appraised/valued? One l'il scratch or nick, and it's heart attack time. That thing would be a super trailer queen: One with climate control, voice/retina recognition security system, and a trailer for that trailer as well. Geez..... :eek2: People (cocaine druglords) with way too much $$$ driving up the prices of prehistoric dinosaur cars. I love my '72 GS very very much, but most of that has to do with the fact I can wrench on it, and not be afraid to modify here and there.
NO BIDS ON ANY OF HIS CARS FOR SALE !!!!!!!!! HO-HO-HO-HOOOOOOOOOOO.....MERRY CHRISTMAS.... YOU GET TO KEEP YOUR TOYS!!!!!!!
Why yes I do. Bought 'em from Torque Tech, back when there was a Torque Tech. 1 3/4" MT headers I believe. The ones with the HUGE collectors that love kissing speedbumps and any other little thing that comes my way. Here's a question for you all: What would be the most valuable GS of all.... and how much? I'm guessing Connely's gsX prototype, or that '71 gsX with the black/gold paint scheme. Dunno what they're worth though. Anyone? o No: :blast: my '94 caprice w/ heating problem
some dentist from california sold the 71 judge ragtop on ebay for $70k,believe his name was dennis green. it had been fixed from a wreck a long time ago but was fully optioned car, orderred by a dealer for his wife was the story on the car.
I don't know, I like that GTO man. It's all original and beautiful. If it was a GS it would get praise for keeping the original color and all around originality. I'd be proud to drive that sucka, wing or no wing. I must say though, Buick got it right with the rear spoiler. Still one of the best designs from that era.
That's custom classics GTO, Those guys are famous for asking 2-3 times what the car is actually worth. I have never heard a good thing about them (heard their restos are crappy and their parts business is a scam from a number of pontiac guys). I would avoid them. Something is fishy about this auction. The seller normally sells tv memorbilia and all of a sudden this car comes up for auction. Plus it has the same description as one of the ones custom classics usually uses when selling their GTOs. I think somebody is listing this for custom classic or this is a sham auction. It comes from Doylestown, which is where custom classics is located so I am inclined to think the former not the later. Edit: it is custom classics listing the car under a different name. I think it's a little disingenious in an ebay auction to list your own website as a reference for GTO prices, don't you? The car is actually fairly rare and I happen to like the color (it's rare to see a musclecar in any shade of brown, much less a judge). The white 1971 GTO judge convertable was one of 12 cars made. This car is a 1970 and somewhat rare but by no means one of 12. I'd say the car is worth about 70K
this is nothing , there a guy in north dakota that paid ... 2 MILLION DOLLARS ... for a 71 HEMI CUDA 'VERT , he would have that judge as his daily driver :error: http://www.moparaction.com/Next/history/dec2004.html
