This isnt a kill story, but the young guy across the street has a 1.4 corolla with one of those h-u-g-e cannon mufflers on it. Loves showing the cars might as he takes off up the street. We were talking sh^t about cars, and he was mildly trashhingg the boat. Couldnt go fast, couldnt spin the wheelsetc. Well, he is sort of right. It aint fast. 205hp in 2400kgs aint gonna move quick. Add 245 rubber on it, and the wheels wont spin either. Well, I said I had to go to the shops, so I went in, grabbed the keys, and some tyre shine. squirt squirt. Thats slippery sh^t. I backed out (they didnt see the tyre shine happening) and pulled up out front, wound down both LH windows (its RHD) and shouted 'You want anything from the shops? His dad shook his head, and he and his mate were on the front lawn looking smug. Well, I put my foot thru the fire wall thinking "dear God, at least let one wheel spin a little" and well spank my bum and call me Charlie, both wheels lit up for a good 15 meters! Woo Hoo!!! There was a suprised look on the face of the guy 3 doors up :eek2: I just waved and he just looked at me funny.
its in bad tune at the moment. I am running dual fuel. Petrol, and LPG, so it is tuned for both. About $2300 should have it running straight LPG, and tuned nicely :3gears:
Oh heck yes. Although it chews a little more, about 30% , prob about 20% more if tuned well, its 1/3 the price of petrol over here. Giddy Up!
I just had a flashback of the Road Warrior movie when the guy starts screaming "GET THE GAS!!!" I hope that gas doesn't get to that price structure here anytime soon...
well petrol here is about $1.30 per litre, which is about 6per gallon. LPG is about 45-55cents per litre.
