I think it was Sonny I talked to at Salem. He had an intake I need at a good price. I couldn't raise the cashola at Salem, but I think I'm looking good for next pay. So can someone hook me up with his E-mail or something? Thanks

I'm failing board navigation 101:mad: I type his name in the search and get nothing. If anyone has his Email, please PM me. I actually talked with him at Salem, so my message shouldn't be a surprise to him. Thanks folks:TU:

Thanks Ken I think thats him! Nothing radical planned. I've been seeking an aluminum TA or Poston 350 intake for awhile and he had a Poston at a very good price. Problem was that as good as the price was, I simply didn't have that much. I swore off borrowing a year ago as I now work OT to pay for my poor stewardship in times past. But I'm gonna assault Salem in a few weeks and I'm hunting for an intake again.

Sounds great, Dan! Make that machine faster! :3gears:

I really dig your ride, it's pretty unique with 8 cylinders AND a four banger in a Regal!

    Dan,

Sonny Seal is one cool guy! I met him in Bowling Green many years ago and he made a point to tell Gary not to pick on any GS Californias in the staging lanes at Salem! I hope he gets Tweety back on the track soon!

I also sent you a PM with a few thoughts, one low-buck guy to another! :beer

Ken # 1, Thanks for the comments. Its one fun ride for sure.

Ken # 2, thanks for the PM. I really do wanna experiment with a dual plane. I remember the difference a dual-plane made over the stock four holer on my 84 5.0 back in the day. Anyway, heres a refresher on my combo, complete with some changes since Salem.

1969 350 4V. TA 290 cam, hooker supercomp headers, 73 olds Quadrajet with #72 jets and CJ secondary rods. Full advance 'round 35 degrees at about 2000rpm, 2 1/2 duals with H pipe and el-cheapo cherry bombs.

A- 833 OD trans. Meaning third gear is my one-to-one. Kinda hurts me a little, but the last one I bought was $40!

GN 8.5 3.42 posi rear with boxed upper and lower arms and reinforced bushings. (Nails)

Also, my Email to Sonny came back undeliverable. Somebody help me please:beer
