I need some help from yall..................

I have never done this so bear with me ok ?

My brother in law was just in a serious accident in Denver. We have no details and everyone is kinda runnin' around as of now. I, being in the position I am, get to stay at home and try and keep things in line. As I am sure if any of you have been in my shoes, you know too well what is happening and such. Our phone has become "middle ground" for all involved so things will revolve around here in some ways(although we have hit the "everyone move" stage as Denver is 3 hours away. The only info that we have as of now is, he was in a accident and rolled his company truck. He is in critical condition in Denver(can't remember the hospital), and is having a catscan as of 20 minutes ago. When his mother and wife(my sis) were contacted they were told that further info could not be relayed over the phone. Now, I am not stupid. This "lack" of info initially tells me that he is not in good shape. Since they won't even tell his mom or wife. I know there are rules and such but I don't know how they work. I would at least think they would tell them to "get there asap" if need be. But they wouldn't go that far even, just "implied" it. So I just don't know. Anyways.........................

Although at times I have assumed that "big brother" role as far as he is concerned. I do like the guy. I would like to ask yall to add him to your prayer list in the hopes that the next info we get is better(somewhat at least) than what we have gotten so far. And that he does make it and comes out ok. I would also ask that you add Angie(my sis) and Noah(their 5 year old son) to your prayers too. So that they are strong through this test of faith, and that they look to the heavens for support, just as I am.

    Thanks Guys..............................I appreciate it.

    Dave,
Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law.Hope everything goes well for him and your family. Its times like these that you need God and friends to help you.I have a neighbor that was bit by a snake and at first it wasn't believed he was going to make it.I strongly believe that the prayers from family and members here helped him pull through the ordeal. We will keep him in our prayers and hope that everything will turn out for the best. Please keep us informed as we are a family here and care what happens to each others family.

    A bit of an update:

I guess brother in law is ok kinda. 8 broken ribs and something has the doc's worried abour his spleen I guess, dunno for sure though. Still playing phone tag and all that, so, so far, thats all I have been told. I do know that he was at work and rolled a water truck. Not sure of any more details other than that. But I am sure I will find out.

Just wanted to stop in and say Thank you to all for the help and prayers. I know they counted in regards to the outcome. Coulda been alot worse than this I know. Much appreciated guys, THANKS !!!

This is one of those situations that no matter what the outcome, you get to see God in action first hand.

My prayers are with you and your brother-in-law.

    Re: Denver

    Jim,

I wasn't trying to keep it all that quiet, really. Everything happened REALLY fast as I am sure you can imagine. In fact he is home already. I guess they released him pretty quick(too fast in my opinion) and we just kinda went from there. Sorry I havent updated for yall, but he's home and doing ok. Of course he is REALLY beat up. Can't go back to work yet or any of that but in time.....

I would like to pass out a BIG Thanks to you all for your support on this deal. Coulda gone either way as we all know and I have NO doubt that prayer was a player in this. You all helping out and adding to our cause helped out. I just know it did !!!!

And Jim, I know yall woulda been there for me in a heartbeat if I had asked. Thats what makes our little group special, and I appreciate it, I do. Thanks for the concern and all that man, I'll buy you a beer at Pueblo(outa Coniloges cooler, lol:Brow: ).

    THANKS again guys..................A Bunch !!!

Dave - Sounds like things are looking up for your brother in law...sure is great to see an answer to prayer!!:TU:

I'm very thankful that we have this forum on this board...most boards seem to frown on it....

It's comforting to know, that when any of us has a need, there will be quite a few folks praying for us!!:TU: It's even better to know that we have a God who answers prayer!!!:bglasses:
