I need a description of these going on at the GS Nationals:
    Gambler's Race
    Test and Tune
    Car Corral
The Show Car Race on Friday

Also, I plan on bringing my GS. I wanted to run it on the track, but the rules are a little confusing for me. Is it possible to just take the car there an run it to see your times without being in a class? I am not wanting to compete, just go down the track. Hopefully on Friday.

don't have the full answer, but...

the test and tune should be what you are looking for, a place to run down the track side by side with another person, who's also just tuning, or trying it out.
There should be a small registration fee, but I'm sure most of us would like to do it. I think they usually allow you as many passes as time allows also, so if there aren't that many cars there-vroom vroom!

A car corral is an area set up that lets anyone put a for sale sign on their car, also usually for a small fee.

Have a killer time! Wish I could go, but it's out of my area.

IF you haven't yet, here's a link to check out:
