I need an interior part, help...

I am doing my seats up right now. I have the split bench with armrest front seat. I need to get new decorative caps for the bench backs where they pivot at. It is a polished aluminum cap that has the push on locks, like a washer, inside. They just will not come off withour taking on severe damage.

I am thinking that they have to be available somewhere. I appreciate any help.


I am also looking for a set of the old steel flat speaker grills for the rear deck. Does anyone know where to get them?

Contact Duane.he was looking for some and I believe he knows where to get them.There are 2 styles by the way.They are a pain to remove and be saveable.OPG sells some that are listed as 64-65's but look identical to the ones that were on a 71 Skylark we just parted out.part number KR01009 2.95 a set page 2 in the new products in the catalog.

I looked that number up and here is what I found in the picture. It calls out as a part for bucket seats, is it still the same piece? The pieces I need look similar to the round piece on the far left. Thanks again for the help...

I just ordered 4 from NPD, they look to be round without the slightly fancy beveled outer part. They are $2.50 each and shipping was the minimum of $7. So, if you want them for the $5 plus whatever it cost to ship to you, it will save you a few bucks. I figured I may as well help out someone that may need them also...

I got time to look at the bench seat part.There are a few gouges in it and its not as nice as I'd hoped it to be after another look.
