    I was cruising ebay just now, and came upon what I beleive could be a very great find. Four Buick Rally Wheels, looking to be in very good condition, at a starting bid of $140. Its a 7 day listing, and there's only 18 hours left, and nobody has bid yet. But I happen to be a very poor man, and am unsure of whether or not I should do this blindly on such short notice. So I decided to go here for help! I have three questions;

    1. Are they in good shape? Would it be worth the cost of rechroming these, as opposed to buying a new set for $600? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34209&item=2482951766&rd=1

    2. Is the 4 and 1/2 size he talks about compatible for bolting onto a 1966 Skylark 340?

    3. Are they worth it?

    A prompt response would be much appriciated, if anyone can spare the time.

    PS: If you bid against me, you're a very low down and sneaky person... the kind of person who should be driving a Gremlin instead of a Buick:grin:

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

    Those are 15x7 Buick Rallyes w/4.75 bolt circle. Those will fit Skylarks from 68-72. However, you have a 65-7 model and I do not think those will clear the rear wheel wells. You need to get the 14x6 with the correct offset for 65-7 models. You can not use the 78-87 Regal wheels since their offset is incorrect.

    Stockton Wheel and Wheel Vintiques sell reman. wheels and they cost $150/ea.

    So, basically, those wheels won't work on your car.

  3. i think they are newer than that. look at the center spock and see how they do not dip down much. i think these are newer 73 up type of wheels. the older ones have more of a swoop to them
