you know why? becuase most of you make me feel like a moron most of the time. and that's a good thing....it's impossible to learn things and get the information you need if there aren't people more knowledgable than you. i've actually got a project of every make going now...i'm putting a 302 into my mustang, helping a friend put a 350 into his firebird, and helping another put a 318 into his truck. and while trying to do various bits of research, i come up dry over and over again...and chevy stuff is the worst. if i ask a question about any aspect of a 2.8>5.7 chebby swap, all i get back is a response equivalent to 'you should just save up and buy an irawk camero, mang, them engine swaps is hard!'ou: but it doesn't matter what a buick (or any other make, for that matter) question on here concerns....there's always someone who knows how to answer it. thanks guys...just figured that after some browsing i would reassure everyone that this IS the best car forum on the internet.:TU:
Yeah, the guys here are really knowlegeable. I'm used to a message board with people my age who think they know things. I'm not saying I'm too much better, but hey...
I agree, It's great to have a forum full of guys who already screwed it up, so you don't have to!:TU:
hehe. steve, where'd the LS1 buick pic in your avatar come from? i guess it's a photoshop, GM wouldn't be that smart....ou:
I agree, this board has been an incredible resource for information, parts, humour, politics and fun. Happy to be part of it. later Tim
I love you guys to. Not in the forbidden way of the Romans but the way a man loves a really nice lawnmower. Seriously though, Yall are the ones who by ending up here accidently turned me into a rabid mutant Buick zombie fanatic. Ok well only a fanatic but still. A big ole :TU: to everyone who takes the time to answer peoples questions here. I owe everything in my life today that is Buick related to the folks on this board and their used parts, or car, and to the wealth of knowledge shared freely at this place.
As the slogan says: V8Buick, The Online TOOLBOX!:bglasses: The Tool that you "get out of the Toolbox (Board)" is INFORMATION to HELP you to become BETTER at what you do (Diagnosing car problems, Determining what the problem is, Fixing the problem, and Getting the Satisfaction of Doing it Yourself, and ENJOYING the car when it's fixed and running right!):bglasses: The Tool that you "put back into the Toolbox (Board)" is the EXPERIENCE or information to SHARE with someone else when THEY ask the same or similar question!:TU: THAT's what makes this the BEST BOARD on the Web! HELPING EACH OTHER and WORKING TOGETHER!:TU: If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now, I APPRECIATE all the efforts that have gone into this Club/Group/Organization/BOARD, and I expect Great Things to come out of it! I truly am looking forward to being in Salem, Ohio, with ALL of you guys!:ball::TU: Thank YOU, Dave M. for posting this topic and pointing out what a Great Place this is to be!:bglasses: I L... I Lu.... I Luu... I LUV YOU GUYS, TOO, My Buick Brothers (and Sisters:TU: )!:bglasses::TU::laugh:
