I know this isn't a FAQ but...I am at a loss to find this information for my Buick. Could anyone tell me how many Convertible Skylark Customs were made that had the option of factory AIR CONDITIONING? Also, if you can answer this, please let me know what resources you used to find this information. Thanks in advance for answering. ~69SkyInNJ
You can find out this info and many other things by getting copies of "The Daily Car Report" from the Sloan Museum. This report is an end of the year total of how many cars were built with each option. Contact the Sloan Museum (810-237-3440) and tell "Andy" that you would like a copy of the 1969 Daily Car Report for Skylark Custom (give him the model number). The complete report will cost approximately 5 dollars a page and there will be about 5 pages. Very interesting info. Or, you can just inqure about how many Skylark Customs were built with AC. Good Luck, :beer
I have no idea how many, but mine has A/C. Nice on summer day when the sun is too hot, and traffic too slow, for dropping the top... not that I'd know, the A/C was dead when I got the car. At first I wondered why it had it, but after a few of those terrible days I figured it out.
