i am not familiar with buicks. i bought a race car that has what i am told some kind of wildcat motor. the only # i saw on the heads were a 219 b 2. could someone help me learn about what i have. they are aluminum. i would also like to know where to find the block castings to see what size it is.

I think the only factory aluminum Buick motor was the 215 v8.

Used in the early 60's, then bought by Rover.

They're probably from a 300 cu in engine. I believe some of them had aluminum heads. I don't know much about the numbers but someone else can probably help you find out exactly what year they are from.

Made only in 1964 . Aluminum heads and intake. Wildcat 355 which under the Buick convention is the torque rating in foot pounds.

I assume you mean one big square hole.

i haven't took carb off but the intake looks just big enough for the carb. probably is just one big hole.
