was there any 69 455 cars ever with Buick, i would think there had to be a few somewhere that are real they had to test them, run them, fit them???? any info? thanks
There were no production ones in 1969. Remember, GM had a ban on engines over 400 cubic inches in intermediate bodies prior to 1970. Im sure there were a few engineering "mules" made but like all these types of cars, they cannot be sold to the public and are usually destroyed
There's a picture floating around somewhere of a Nailhead/400-455 hybrid that was found in a barn or something, it was odd looking
yea, friend is looking at a 69 gs and they said its numbers matching but it has a 455 in it, told him no way, guy swears its numbers matching?? never know
