I get my car today!!!! I'm supposed to take delivery of my '60 LeSabre today(unless the shipping company messes up)! :3gears: I'll post some pics of it as soon as I get it.
I just talked to the transport company and the transport is delayed in snow:ball: (the car has shaved door handles but no popper kit so a window has to stay open) :ball: and my car won't be here till tomorrow or sat. when it was supposed to get here yesterday:rant: :rant:
When my car got shipped to me, it was supposed to come in on a Tuesday, I got it the Sunday after.....I know how you feel
It hasn't quite got to that point yet, they are only 3 days late. Well they said they were going to call here at 6:00pm and it's 7:25pm and they haven't yet but it should get here tonight.
Awesome We just ordered a Pizza It should be here in 45 minutes. We'll be eating and waiting to see the pics of the '60 D&B:TU: :TU:

that thing is sweet! is it just the motor and interior that need work? how's the body, frame, suspension, ect?
The motor just needs to be tuned and painted. The interior needs some work though. The body,frame and suspension was all done by the person I bought it from, and from the looks of it he did a good job. The only problem other than that is the car is too low so I need to either raise it a little or put airbags in it.
Yeh man, I've really been getting into that early '60s hot rod/custom look lately and the buicks make excellent cars for that look. I go to an event here in Atlanta every labor day week end called the Drive-Invasion and that look is BIG there. By the looks of your car you would probably dig it and I know people would dig your car. Keep us posted on its progress and btw...you wouldn't happen to have a lot of tattoos would ya?
