I have finally fixed my poping and missing in high gear. I borrowed a MSD 6A box and put it on in place of the holley box I had. I made 3 runs this last weekend and it never missed a beat all 3 runs, but car ran real slow, some of it was weather as most every one I asked was off 2 tenths but I was off almost 4 tenths. I tried my timing at 32* this time insted of 34* like I ran before, maybe it didn't like that change. It was still nice to make 3 runs in a row and have it run real nice though, haven't done that in a couple years now. I was shifting at only 5800 with the old ignition to help with the missing/poping, I redlighted first round and decided to wind it up some more to see how it liked it, I shifted at 6100 and it still never missed a beat. So now maybe I can start playing with things again to see if it will run faster with what I have. I am also thinking of trying the poston 110 cam I have sitting here, I just need to get myself in the mood to change it, I am getting to old and lazy I guess lol. Tom

    Was the Holley box old?

My memory isn't the best but I think it must be about 4 years old. Tom
