I have a guy that's "inches" from buying the 71 from us. He got one quote on shipping it to him and it was $1200 :eek2: So I'm trying to help him find a better rate. The first link I click on was this site I couldn't believe it when I saw their home page! :laugh:

He's in San Antonio, TX, and he certainly won't need an enclosed carrier.... Best price I've found so far is $575 "door to door" Starr said..... "It's a sign" LOL Thats the first thing I thought too! :laugh:
My Buick was shipped at the end of 2003 from Fayettville Ak to Charleston WV by dependable auto shippers and it was 470.00 and I paid 90.00 for insurance through them so it totaled 560.00.

Rick did you go through the list in the directory? http://www.buickpartsdirectory.com/transport.htm The company I used was Dependable Auto Shippers. But I think they only do enclosed transport. Some of the others look promising though!
I used Dependable Auto Shippers and you have the option of top load, bottom load or inclosed trailor, I told them I didn't care cause the car needed redone anyway so I came in on top of a open hauler.
