I think this is a German site. Link Notice the turn indicator on the front fender just in front of the door.
Cool pics, Dale! I've always thought this generation of body style looked great, and how it's a shame it wasn't a RWD platform!
Yes they do, but they don't open. I've been curious about the additional red tailights you see on european cars. In this case the ones in the bumper. I've seen Audis, Saabs, etc. with these, and when lit they are as bright or brighter than brake lights. Must be required equipment but wonder what the purpose is. o No:
There's one here in NJ, the owner bought it while overseas in the service and had it shipped over here when his tour was up. Passes NJ state inspection with no problems
These Red taillights are so called "fog lights". You must turn the lights on when the weather is very bad, like heavy rain or snow, or Fog!
You are right, Until this summer, I had a 91 Ultra, I also like the way it looked but I hated front wheel drive, I sold it to my father when I got my 65 Cat. I think that only the base Park Avenue model was available in Europe. This european example is a 95 or 96. It also has larger rear view mirrors than the U.S. models and the lower part of the cornering light is clear instead of amber.
My mother's 94 SC Ultra has the duals. When it comes time to replace the exhaust on my Park Ave. I'm adding the duals. I didn't notice the larger side view mirrors.
It might be long before you have to! Did you ever had to replace the exhaust on your Park Avenue, these stanless exhausts rarely need to be replaced. I replaced 3 transmissions and one engine in my 91 non-supercharged Ultra but I never had to replace a single piece of the exhaust!
