I just bought a completely rebuilt 455 for my '67 Skylark and I'm not sure what else I need. I was at the swap meet at Carlisle today, and I'm not sure what to look for. I know I need a water pump, etc. but how about other items. Will the AC system form my 300 work with it. Help, I'm lost.

I did manage to stick my neck out at Carlisle and purchase a Holley 600cfm carb, I even took a chance buying that. I hope I can use it

the holley 600 is way too small of a carb for a 455. 750 cfm was the factory rochester Q-jet size in the early years and in later years 800 cfm was standard with the rochester Q-Jet. sorry buddy.

now if you have 2 holleys and a dual carb intake you'd have something.

you can always sell the holley to the chebby boys and look for a rochester 800cfm.
