As some here know, I now have a second job in the city. Every Monday morning I take the train down and I come back on Wednesday. I come back tonight and I'm walking down the parking lot and realize my car is not there. My first thought was it was stolen, I couldn't believe it. So I go up to the ticket agent and ask if any cars had been towed in the last 3 days. Yep! They towed it. The station has a long term lot, 10 day max, where I park. I parked Monday morning, they towed it later that day!!!! I couldn't believe it. The ticket agent was a real nice guy, though. He personally drove me to the atm and to the tow lot. But I had to shell out $130 to get my car!!! I know have to write a letter to Amtrak headquarters in DC and try to get them to cut me a check. The agent said my ticket stub for the Monday train would probably be enough evidence. The only thing I can think of is that I had the car parked there for exactly 10 days like two weeks ago, and I parked in the same area this past Monday. I guess the guys who check the lots didn't realize that the 5 mile long, red, oldest car in the lot hadn't been there FOR OVER A WEEK!!!!!!!!!, between the 10 day stint and monday.

I have a rant about towing also. When the tickets finally caught up to me and they towed my 84 Electra back last July. So I leave my friends house at 3am and my car is gone. I thought somebody stole it, so I call the police and this prick says "Yeah right, who would steal an 84 Buick Electra". I felt like smacking him. So then the next day I call the impound lot, and I am thinking if I just pay the tickets I can get the car back, nope the impound lot charged me an extra $250 for towing and storage fee of 1day. Since I wasn't going to buy the car at auction I bought my mopar instead I broke the Electra if I cannot have it nobody can.
