Can someone help me? I am putting a 455 in a 1984 buick regal and the yoke seems to be to long for the short tail buick 400 tranny. How much of the yoke should be visible outside the tranny.
Swapping a 455 into a Regal That link contains most of the swap info you'll need. The yoke usually sticks out about 3/4 to 1" depending on how accurately you measured your dirveshaft.
