The project is still a go even though I only have 3 people interested so far. I will likely find out the price in the next few weeks.

I am hoping to get you and Matt set up with 300 versions in adition to the 3 people who want the 350 versions. Nothing concrete yet.

Count me in as interested as well. If I'm going to pop for a billet crank might as well go all out :TU:

I am this has fizzled and is taking longer than originally expected!
Just so all involved are aware when this project started I was in contact with the OP and asked several questions about construction materials, time frame and who was or was not working on the project, I was given less than honest answers....
I also offered access to to a shop I used to work at, more like create who had just upgraded to a new CNC water jet and had offered to let us use the equipment for free! We all could have these for the cost of the materials! They would have been done months ago as well.
I hope it actually comes true, but I also hope no one has paid up front as money and parts only seem to flow one way some with of the people involved with this project!

    Good luck!

Once again just the words of a "liar and a con man"

First Guess: The single thing this has to it's advantage is that it can tie into the oil pan rails. AT BEST, it may increase the torsional rigidity of the block a little bit, until it frets the gaskets/sealer (because it's not a precision-fit at the fasteners); at worst it's a total waste of time, money, effort, and enthusiasm. It WILL NOT provide any useful strength in the vertical plane. Horizontal plane...maybe. Other Halo girdles (attaching only to the main bolts/studs) are a few pounds of ballast you don't need.

I emailed Finishline the other day and Bobb said that one will be in the works this coming spring if anyone is interested.

Sean,if you still have info from this one maybe you can help Bobb with one? He said he has a turbo build he wants to make one for,so maybe he'll have them available to sell some?
