Well OPG never tells you, unlike YO, it is not in stock untill the end. They have overstated the arrival time of out of stock by months. They have a points system for frequent buyers but they do not tell you that they wipe them out in a year unless you use them. ( I could not figure out what was happening to all mine).

I once bought a HEI dist in their Cat. advertised for a Buick only after carefully questioning them about my understanding from what I presumed was the original manf. that they did not make them for Buicks. The sales guy assured me they were specially made and asked the guy next to him so I could hear it if he didn't have one on his Buick and he said yes. When I got it I sent it to be recurved without really looking at it. I spent 100-200 on that including shipping. When I got it back I could not get it in. It looked like the gear was wrong so I called OPG and told them the problem. They spent all kinds of time telling me I did not know what I was doing and blah, blah. I insisted they talk to someone else there about this and I held on the phone forever. Finally, a guy comes on and tells me they discovered there was a mistake in their Cat. and they do not have them for Buicks--it must be for a Pontiac.

So I talked to the head guy supposedly the owner. He will give me a credit but not for shipping or the money invested in the recurving.

    Need I say more?

    Okay, help me out here...

As most of you know, I do the BEST dash kits for the A-body Buicks. Year One is a major purchaser of my kits. I'm curious... Has anyone ordered a dash kit from YO? What was the turn-around time? How much for shipping?

Just trying to gauge the experience. Thanks.

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

I have ordered from basically everyone that makes parts for our Buicks. Here is what I experienced:

Year One, pricing is high and shipping is outrageous considering I am in FL and UPS is only 2-3 days.

OPG, pricing is very good, usually get free shipping on large orders, they do have frequent buyer rewards program. Always, tell me part is in stock or not. Will also tell me expected deliver time (Legendary is usually 2-3 months on back order for all interior items from them)

Parts Place... same experience as OPG

    Postons ....same experience as OPG

    In-Line Tube......same experience as OPG

Classic Tube ...same experience as OPG

    TA Performance......same experience as OPG

National Parts Depot (Chevelle Catalog) .....pricing is slightly higher than OPG but they are only 90 miles away

AIH (Pot Metal Repair and Rechrome) .....excellent communication and pricing is good, work is outstanding

Mr G's USA (plastic rechromer)......a little slow on deliver but work was excellent

Desert Dog Bumper Rechrome.... excellent pricing and finish work
