I bought one of these to try on the race car, but wondering if it will work. Spacer is 1" for dominator planned to use on KB wildcat intake. Intake has clover leaf entrance and spacer has square opening leaving steps arround the intake entry. Anyone with experience or opinion on this please reply. Thanks, Dennis
Dennis They sell one that is 4500 Carb to Brodix Intake which is what I bought..... It's close to the plenum and only needs a little massaging to blend perfectly. The jury is still out on the Wildcat for me,The Car was strong through the middle of the Track and we'll see where the top end is w/o a 30+ mph headwind
I just put one on my car today and can't wait till Sunday. Same as yours for a Dominator. Mine is on a TA intake not much for a lip on mine just a little in the center.
I guess I will know by noon on Friday in Norwalk how well they work. Although mine is the 2 inch version on a TA manifold. I did blend the steps on the manifold. The steps are basically the same on my KB and my TA manifold (or at least were)
Dennis I ran the 1 in. plastic cloverleaf on my Wildcat but it warped from heat and they sent me an aluminum replacement. Ran it earlier this year but the local track was a skating rink. My best time is still with a 4 hole BG phenolic 1/2 in spacer. Bruce
Thanks for the replies. I should have the cloverleaf model by tomorrow to take to Norwalk. I have been running with no spacer at all and was hoping for just a little out of the spacer. Time will tell how it works on my combination.
Are you guys running the plastic or aluminum? 1" or 2" ? Does anyone have a part #. I am running the new style TA intake (Dominator). Thanks! Tom Jenkins
I use a 1" tapered 4-hole spacer from Wilson Manifolds. It picked up 15 hp from my old Moroso 1/2" 4-hole spacer. Rick Martinez got similar results with Wilson's 1 1/2" 4-hole, tapered spacer. If anyone's interested, here's the link: http://www.wilsonmanifolds.com/
