HVAC Vacuum canister question

    This may be a dumb question and I think I know the answer, but - Is there supposed to be a liquid inside the vacuum canister on a 70 GS? Its the black plastic round pod on the firewall with 2 vacuum ports, one port bigger than the other. Mine had a thin oil like substance inside.

    Thanks Frank - didn't think so, sucked it out with a vacuum. weird.
