    Please Help

Last week I went to Arizona and bought a Regal for a parts car. To my surprize it was a 77 Regal S/R. I wanted the T/Tops for my current Regal but have decided to save the Regal S/R instead. My problem is that whoever the previous owner was, must have cracked the driver side top and bought another used one. He bought an early top instead of a late top, without frame, and had tabs welded on to the frame of the T/Top! Idiot! Can someone please tell me if the roof frames were different from the Early model to the late model or is the difference just in the T/Tops?

    Thanks,

    Dan.

Just about everything. The previous owner totally screwed up the frames in the roof and tried to make an old style T/Top work in a newer frame by welding tabs to it.

The only thing I have that's good is the right side glass.

If possible, could you send a picture of what you have?

    Thanks,

    Dan.

Dan I haven't been outback yet but i'm betting there a bunch of snow on top of the car but that's not the worst part.............The friggin cold air is what slows me down. So if your in no hurry i'll check it out once we get above ZER0. It's cold.

Nope, no hurry. Didn't think of that were you're at. Don't blame you for waiting.

    Thanks,

    Dan.
