Hey Everyone! Can someone tell me the horsepower and torque numbers for a '67 430 Buick? I'm really just curious, as my uncle has a '67 buick wildcat sedan, and told me that I could have any parts off of it I wanted. I'm not entirely certain that its got a 430....but I think if memory serves me correctly, thats what its got. I'll have to look again to make sure. Also, does anyone know the codes stamped onto the axle that'll tell me what gear ratio the rear is, and whether is got posi or not? And lastly, I assume its got a TH400 tranny, right? If this 430 makes 440+lb-ft, wouldn't that be about the MAX torque that tranny can handle? Sorry If I've posted this in the wrong spot. Mods can feel free to move it to the correct area.
