I have searched the net., with no luck. I'm trying to route the power window harness through the doors on my 71 GS. If somone could post a pic with the door panels off and harness in correct place. Or maybe a pic from the assembly Manuel. It would be a big help. I have the boots installed from cowl to door. And the harness pulled into the doors. I just can't figure out the correct rought placement. Thanks, Richard..
RICHARD!!! What is happening? Hope you and your wife are doing great!!! Try to get a hold of my buddy Milton, AKA Stump Puller, on this board. He's got a 70 GS that he put power windows in. He might be able to help you. Hope to see you at the Nationals in May! John
Were good and you John? That Driver side is really giving me hell. Its real long I figured most of it ran inside the door. The drivers harness diameter is really to dig for outside the door. I've got to cut the door panel for the switches. I have no idea how far forward at the door panel window crank hole. I see that if it's not correct the harness plug can come in contact tith the regulator gear. John you will be the first one I look for at the NATS. When ever it is
Hey @Freakazoid Did you figure this out? I'm in the same boat at the moment, I have the boots ran into the door, but can't figure out where the wires in the door route. Any thoughts or pictures? Thanks, Nick
