HI. (Buick Electra 1968) Whats the trick to remove the windscreen wipers? And what is the easiest way to get out the door windows and their electric motors? (Im not sure if I wrote in the right category, if not then Im sorry.) Thanks.
The easiest and best way is with a special tool the looks like a bent pair of pliers. I do not know how difficult it is to find one in Sverige but Year One I think sells them. You could also try and get something small and bent up under the wider tab area where they attach to the knob while pulling up on the wiper but it is a pain in the butt. The drivers side also has a smaller arm that can be slid off after the large arm is removed.
The '68 'Body by Fisher' Manual has most of the information you need. They sell on eBay for around $25 - and the '68 'Chassis Service Manual' also contains lots of useful information for your resto project. They are a good investment ! :beer :TU:
