My '73 Vette has a 9 leaf spring pack. Everything is disassembled - I have new trailing arm bushings and leaf liners. My question... what do you suggest for refinishing the leaves? This is a driver, not a show car. No garage where I live so most of the time it will be outside. POR 15? Primer/Enamel? Rustoleum? "Slip Plate"?
What about the liners? Do you suggest using the liners or leaving them off?
    Let me know. Thanks!

    I like POR 15.

I used a couple coats of POR-15 Chassis Black on mine. Except for touch up spots, mine look as good as when I did them in 1999!
I brushed the POR-15 over the assembled leaf pack before I mounted them on the car.
