How to install Transmission pan leak free!!!

    I had luck using a new pan, ARP trans pan bolts, and the Mr. Gasket (cork and neoprene) gasket. Its thicker than the neoprene gaskets. Torque as specified above. I've heard the blue rubber Moroso gasket works good too. Its around $30. The Mr. Gasket was $12. The ARP bolts definitely had more bite as well. s=

    I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I've tried a few times with no success. I tried a new felpro gasket (dry) on the original pan after flattening the pan holes, a cork gasket with RTV on the original pan, new summit pan with Moroso gasket...Torqued to spec. Still leaks. Went around and snugged them up a bit more and it leaked slightly less.

    I guess I haven't found the right combination yet. This should be one of the easiest things I've ever done to the car, but it's fighting me! At least my new pan has a drain plug for the next attempt.
