hi, im swapping the 3.8L V6 that my regal had and putting in a 68 350. i was wondering how do i get to the nuts so i can hold them with a wrench while i take the bolts out from the top. i dont see a way on the bottom side of the frame.

    fast-gs what to do now?

you cant use a wrench have to use a short socket with a u joint and a extension and go through the lower control arm holes where the bushings meet the frame

If your swapping a 3.8 V6 for a Buick 350 you don't have to change the frame pads. The V6 ones work just fine. You just need to get new V6 motor mounts and everything bolts right up. I just did this to my '87 Regal a few weeks ago worked great. You'll like having the power of the 350 in there!

i cant use the motor mounts from the 350, which are btw in excellent shape hence the reason i was trying to use them

If you keep the V6 frame pads you'll need to use the V6 motor mounts. I got mine from Advance Auto Parts and they were very inexpensive.
