I have a 72 blue dash pad that has a 3" sall crack in it on the top side, looks like it will glue together well. How can I fix this?? I also want to paint it black, what should I use??
Can I use the same paint on my pillar posts?
    Thanks

    Tim,

    I used this:

I did a black dash, works well takes some practice. The hardest part is matching the colors.

I bought the heat kit, the solering iron you get lasted about 5 min (Junk). I used the supplied tip in a nice Weller iron. There customer service is good, I think you can find the same thing cheaper. I saw one in Eastwood.

If you just have that small piece, you can use it/try it. Then you can come and see my junk! Bring :beer

You need a vinyl paint to paint the dash and a non-glare top coat
