How to fasten the trimming above the doors?

I've gone through both my Fisher body manual and this forum but since I'm not even sure what the correct name for this item is I've come up with nothing useful.

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/martin.edelius/BuickGS1972/photo#5028484927973757874">Here's the best picture I have of the detail I'm talking about</a>.

The trimming in question is the one that goes all the way from the back seat up past the upper part of the seat belt and ends at the front windshield. It's barely visible on the picture though.

It has been drooping for quite some time (I bought the car with the trimming this way) so I have been trying to straighten it out gradually and although that seems to be quite a task in itself the biggest problem is that it doesn't stay put when I try to install it.

A previous owner tried to glue it in place but that came right off.

I could remove the one on the passenger side but I'm afraid that I won't get that one back on either so I'm leaving it well alone.

There are no clips or anything (which there whould be it seems). Or does it just stay on there anyhow?

Any and all help is much appreciated (especially the correct name for the detail so I can search for it in my manual :)).

It is hard to tell by the picture but I believe that is your windlace falling down. I think there is a long "tab" attached to it with holes in it that small black flat headed screws attach it to the roof bracing. I'm sure someone more knowledgable than i will post.

    Yeah, it's a crappy picture. :(

I'll do my best to get a better one ASAP.

It`s the windlace. They don`t have any screws. Some will stay on without glue and others need glue to stay up.3M adhesive has always worked on mine.
