I am trying to get a newly installed power window setup to work and I was wondering how to go about checking the power window relay to see if it is ok?
I don't know about the specific relay you have in mind but all relays work on the same principle. A low voltage side closes a switch that turns on the high voltage side. You should be able to hear it click. You can also check the wiring by checking for voltage when the switch is pressed, if the switch and wiring are working and you can raise and lower the window by jumping that side then the relay is the problem.
