I have a dark blue 15" Ralley wheel that was mixed in my parts that was dirty and I thought it was a black wheel for the longest time.I recently cleaned it up and discovered it was dark blue.I don't know the year of the car it came off of but I've only seen 1 other like it and thats the one out of the 70 GS trim 181 car Dustin had.Side by side they are similar. It is in decent shape(2 nicks) and will be the newest addition to my Gulfstream Blue post car interior which is trim 111.Are these rare?

Are you sure it's dark blue? The only 15" blue wheels I've seen are more medium blue and were used in 71 and 72. I have a dark blue 16" wheel, which was used in 1970. It's quite a bit darker than the 15" wheels I have (which, by the way, I don't need). The 16" dark blue wheel is rare. FYI...the cross-section of the rim on a 16" is different than on a 15". The 15" has a fairly round cross-section. The 16" wheel is narrower, and has kind of a "scooped out" area in the rim all the way around it about where your thumbs would be. It's hard to describe, but if you have the 16" wheel, you will be able to see what I mean.

Let me know if you have a dark blue 16" and want to trade it for a medium blue 15". Mine are in very good shape also. Bought them by mistake while searching for the 16" wheel.

    Regards,
    Ira
