How do you replace the antenna - 1967

    On the 1967 Skylark/GS/Special - how do you replace the base for the antenna? Do you have to pull the fender and the dash?

    If I remember right all you have to do is loosen the nut at the bottom of the mast and it will come out thru the hole.
    then when you replace it you will have to tape a wire to the end of the lead and 'fish' it back thru to the inside of the car. If i am remembering right.

    I removed the base on a 64 by remove the wipers and the cowl vent and reached through under the fender to hold the nut that held the base. I think the 67 have a metal tab that holds it in place. I will have to check my manual.
