Being just a shadetree mechanic, I use my air tools maybe once a month on average. I just squirt some air tool oil down the whip before I use it. That way it keeps my main hose clean for my occasional painting efforts.

    How about you?

ATF is a lil heavy. Marvel Mystery Oil is better and I have seen it listed in several air tool manuals as a prefered oil.

That sounds like kind of a personal question to me! :Brow:

  6. I use air tool lube oil, found at Wal-Mart, Sears, etc. I have a little dropper bottle and just put three drops down the input fitting to the tool in before using it.

Yeah! Call it: how do you lube your t... better not say that. Might get someone mad.

I use the air tool oil. I just dump some in the end and let it spray everywhere through the exhaust. The underside of my car appreciates it. My shirt doesn't, though.
