What is the wheelbase on that car. I have one like that, but not close to measure. Thinking about taking the body and sitting it on a 70's electra running gear.
    Thanks Rick

Rick, that sound like an awsome idea.

But down here in the south we would use a 4X4 truck chassis so we can use it during hunting season:grin:

This is what it looked/looks like when I got it. It was originally white with a red top and rust stains all on it but I don't have a pic. of that on the comp

MT BUICKNUT - I will get the wheel base for you later today, I don't know off hand,

Post some more pics guys, I want to see some cars like mine that are going through frame off! You know the saying "You can build a car from a tail light"

So ya wanna see a frame up. Here is my Buick today after a year and a half. What started out as an engine rebuild and a paint job turned into a frame off resto. These cars are just too nice to do 1/2 assed :moonu: We were hoping to have it done for this years event in Vegas but it's looking dim. Anyway, enjoy

Last one for now. Repainted dash. We wernt going to pull the body, but last week I decided since I had to change all the mounts and the car was so far apart anyway, what the hell. So I pullled it off. Of course that means the frame needs to be powedercoated and on and on. Man this takes a long time:ball:

Now those are the kind of pics i am talking about!! Looks good I love to see the restoration process. after i change the wires and plugs on Saturday (if she fires up finally) it will be time to rip her all apart and start the complete overhaul. The engine on my buick has been rebuilt already i am just having minor electric problems keeping her from starting once she does though i will post all the restoration pics. Keep um coming!!! :beer
