How much of a difference in power would headers make with a street/strip camshaft, Stage 1 Aluminum heads, SP1 with a QJ and stock rockers. If there is not enough info post back. I am trying to figure out the power benifits.
I would expect an easy 25 to 30 horse difference. I believe Jim W. did some testing recently and the power gains between headers and manifolds was fairly substantial. Jim Burek
Check the Tri shield website. I recall on a 600 hp engine full headers vs stock manifolds to be about a 50 hp loss( or about 8.3%.) I recall shorty headers vs full headers to cost about 20 hp off the same engine. My memory may have slipped so look at the dyno runs and see for yourself.
