Hi guys, Since we did not attend last year and book every year for the following year... We do not have a room for Friday night. Does anyone have an extra reservation? Thank you
Chuck, Kevin (a1970442) has a room in Greenville he won't be needing. I told him to log on here and contact you.
Chuck. I do have one that I won't be needing. I can call them tomorrow and see how we can get my room switched to you.
I just did this for someone else. Just call the hotel in Greenville, give them the name of who you would like to transfer the room to. Then have that person call them up and give them digits off the plastic. Piece a cake.
Chuck, I just talked to Danielle at the AmericInn in Greenville. She is holding my room under your name until you give her your credit card info. The number is (616)754-4500. Let me know if you have any problems. Thanks! Munson
I have one room with 2 doubles I do not need at the americinn in Greenville. Call my cell or text and I will cancel it put it under your name to call them 313 300 1648
Too late for this year, but a couple of us that had reservations in previous years at Maxfields Inn in Edmore got calls to see if we were interested in a room for Friday night. At least it shows that their booking staff is awake and doing their job. Might be something for those that are in need next year to keep in mind. They had come through previously when I asked to be put on a waiting list for a room. :TU:
:Comp: How was the Greenville AmericInn? We'll be staying at Maxfield's as long as the rooms are available. I know many retreated to Greenville when things became unbearbale in Alma. Just wondered how it was in Greenville. BP
I figured Alma was pretty unbearable about 15 years ago so I switched to Maxfields. Alma likely hasn't gotten any better over the years.....
We first went to the "Uncomfortable Inn" when we first attended in 1996. Back then it was a Comfort Inn. When that agreement ended the place just was not maintained. Wife liked the pool - that's been closed for a few years now. The saving thing was the broken-up parking lot was big and the restaurant, albeit with slow service, had good food. Now the restaurant (Shifters - a good "purestocker" name) is closed. We stayed Thursday night, got a room for Friday at Americinn in Greenville and have reserved a room for next year. The hotel close by, Woodridge Inn and Suites, has had bed-bugs; that used to be a Days Inn. Goodbye Alma!
