Save the best for last!:TU: This guy was "Street Racing" (just showing off). Beautiful car, but not even competition for most of the cars that attended (Supercharged, Turbocharged, NOS, etc.):eek2:
Too Funny. I just noticed, too, that, in the picture of the GSX, if you look in the background and see the Big Black Box Truck, look just to the LEFT of it, and you can see the ROOF of MY '70 Skylark!:TU:
Scott, What was I thinking... forgetting Iowa ou: . When it was clearly marked on the back of the Power Bus, while we were doing 70MPH on rainy I-55. Thanks for the pictures oh and BTW nice roof :TU: Beth
Real Sweet Buicks !:bglasses: Good to see that many Buicks in the tour . Anyone know where in Arlington Hieghts or what time ? :Brow: :TU:
I thought it may have been there . I was thinking of going , anyone else going ? Hmmmm.... A day off from unpacking ! :TU:
We would go, but can't take another day off from the shop (2 days is 2 much at a print shop). Maybe after work if the rain lets up. Call us on one of the cells if you are going, maybe we can meet up for dinner or something. Beth
It's a kind of nasty day, today, because of RAIN!:ball: The cars will be arriving ALL DAY (Thursday) in Arlington, and it's supposed to go until 9PM!:Smarty: You guys HAVE to go! If you DON'T, you'll REGRET IT! There are some BIG $$$ cars there (GM Performance Concept cars, Hot Rod Test Cars, Year One Show Cars, even a Prototype '05 Chevelle SS 454!:eek2: ) By the way, I dropped a hint to the (Independent, NOT GM)Builder of the '05 Chevelle about the "similarity" of the Buick GSX, and how COOL it would be to see that as the new Body Style.:TU: His eyes lit up, as he said "That WOULD be interesting!":TU: Maybe, we'll see...:bglasses:
They'll be arriving in Green Bay, LATE Thursday Night, and ALL DAY on FRIDAY!:Smarty: Anyone who knows about Hot Rod Power Tour, is usually THERE, whether they have their car DONE or NOT!:Smarty: Not only will you see the Show cars, but also cars from your Local and Surrounding areas!:TU: It was AWESOME when they came into town, here! It was almost like going back in time to the '70s, because there were SO MANY '70s, '60s, '50s, '40s, and '30s cars DRIVING AROUND, at the Mall, and Restaurants, and Gas Stations...:bglasses: You'll know when they get there! Just follow the rest of the Old Cars to the Show!:TU::grin:
Does anybody know when the Eastcoast Power Tour is ? I'm pretty sure your not talking about that one.
