yes In 1999 I did 1 leg in my '67 GS 400 conv. In 2003 I did 3 cities in a '67 GTO conv. In 2003 my Dad did the entire "Long Haul" in his '66 GTO, he said it was fun but he said he would never do the entire journey again, maybe just a short part.
I ran it in 2001 in my 37 Coupe, and I was disappointed. It was touted as the "rte66" tour, but most of them ran all the interstates. I ran the old "66" and met them at the shows every day, but to me it was just a money grab for Hot Rod magazine. There were many of the cars that got lots of "press' , that were in trailers most of the time. They would unload at the motel ,and drive into the show field.
