    Two questions about this show.

    1) Anybody out there planning to go?

    and

    2) Anybody have the actual dates?

I ask because I am relocting from Phoenix to Reno and want to be sure to have that time blocked off.

Oops. One more thing. I have three cars to get up there (see my sig line) Two don't run. I have gotten some really shocking :jd: quotes to move the three of them. Anybody out there know of a good reliable auto transporter that can and will move three cars for less than $1500? Barring that, I will be in the market for an auto trailer. About the same money and I'll still have the trailer!

I live in Elko, 300 miles east of Reno but have never been to HAN. A real nuthouse these days I hear, and until last year they didn't allow anything newer than '68 to parade or participate in events. You could still cruise the streets and have a good time I'm sure but I just never got to it.

Maybe we can hook up somewhere in between one day.

Thanks for the replies guys. I didn't know HAN was limited to pre-68 vehicles. I guess it may be a problem that it is a nuthouse since my office is right downtown near the courthouse. Nope, not an attorney. I would like to get together with some other Buick folks. I have never been to Elko but if it is anything like the Reno area, I like it already!

As for collecting on that radio, it just so happens that I AM in the debt collection business. If you are serious, I'll be in Reno after Jul 1 and would be happy to either call or pay a little visit to your ripoff artist.

Still looking for someone to move the cars though. Anybody have a lead?

    Thanks gents

I typoed that one. I WAS '69 and older but I hear it is NOW up to '72. Elko is nothing like Reno. Lots smaller but still near the mountains and 5000'. Good country just the same and not as near California.

    Gary,

What's wrong with California? I know you don't have to tell me - I've been in this state way to long.

I would suggest to buy a trailer. You can buy a good one without all the fancy stuff for about $1000. Just your basic 16 ft two axle car hauler. The biggest problem becomes a place to store the trailer. If you have to pay for a storage space, it becomes a bad deal. If you have no cheap storage, then just sell it after you are done, even if you take a few hundred $$ loss. You are still way ahead of the $1500 cost, even including gas for your truck. A trailer is always handy to have around, never know when you or a buddy might need to haul a car that doesn't run.

Another problem with having a trailer is letting it sit out in the elements. Mine sits out year around - need to get up a carport thrown up. I will say it is very nice having one around.

Well, we are looking for a place to live there that will have room to store all five of the cars we are taking up. Her daily driver, my daily driver plus the three projects. Three can drive and I would like to have the trailer in any case. That sounds like what we will probably end up doing.
